Hollywood// I’ve been trying to clarify timelines for the work I did back in 2006-2007. I know it’s not that long ago but the first few years of photographing are kind of a blur now. From what I can tell from the contact sheets and files, this black and white work was shot over a period of about 6-8 at the end of 2006 and into 2007.  I don’t have a series where I’m completely satisfied with the edit. It’d probably be wise to just let these things go and move but I can’t do it. I still learn from looking and editing. The goal is to eventually have these locked down in print of some sort, maybe a book or zines.  Regardless, I do think editing is a life long pursuit. Who really knows what photographs will resonate with us 20 or 30 years into the future.  From the series ‘Medicine,’ Los Angeles 2006-2007
